Asif Bhatti currently leads Strategic Partnership at OpenAI, working to promote responsible application of AI through the dismantling of linguistic barriers to ensure global inclusivity and accessibility of AI technologies. Across numerous roles, he has led the visioning moonshot ideas for deep-tech areas such as AI and Quantum Technologies.

Most recently, he served as the Interim Executive Director of the Quad Investor Network (QUIN), where his leadership role involved facilitating investment deals across the QUAD countries in critical and emerging technologies, like AI. During his tenure at QUIN, Asif played a pivotal role in establishing the QUIN's Center of Excellence on Quantum Information Science, a significant initiative aimed at propelling advancements in quantum technology. His tenure at QUIN was marked by efforts to enhance cooperation and investment in emerging technologies among the Quad nations, leveraging his extensive background in technology and strategy to foster international collaboration.

A technologist at heart, Asif has dedicated his career to leveraging technology for impactful solutions. He was a Deputy Lead on the Strategy and Operations Team for the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition. Furthermore, Asif spent over five years at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager, where he concentrated on using advanced analytics and machine learning to refine strategies across both public and private sectors.

Asif is an alumnus of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., holding an MS in Data Science, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry with a focus on nanotechnology. Although born and raised in Australia, he has spent the majority of his professional life in the US, contributing significantly to both national and international technology and strategy landscapes.
